PLACING AN ORDER

Our website allows you to click on any item, amend quantities, add to cart then when ready, review and purchase items in the cart. If you choose to sign up for an account with us, it also allows you to track the status of orders, view your order history, and save address information. We ask that you review your order carefully prior to submission, as the order cannot be amended once submitted.

 

ORDER CONFIRMATION

Once you have finished placing your order, you will be immediately provided with an order number. We will also send you an email confirmation with this and full details of your order.

 

ORDER STATUS

If you placed your order through a password-protected online account, you will be able to check the status of your order at any time by logging in to your account. Alternatively, you can click on the link provided in the confirmation email.

  

GIFT CARDS (currently unavailable)

A The Old Bank Vault Gift Card is the perfect something special for someone very special! To purchase, simply select the denomination you would like, £10, £20 or £50, and we’ll send it right to them via post and/or email.

Sending Gift Cards and e-gift cards

Gift Cards will be mailed to the recipient via UK Signed and Tracked service. Please allow 3-5 business days for delivery. You can select Special Delivery for an additional fee. International delivery is also available for physical Gift Cards.

Please contact us if your physical Gift Card is not delivered within the normal delivery timeframe.

E-Gift cards are sent to the recipient via email within minutes of being ordered. You will receive an email confirmation that the E-Gift Card was sent to your recipient. If your E-Gift Card is not delivered to the recipient’s email address, please check that it has not been sent to your junk or promotions folder before contacting us.

Redeeming Gift Cards & E-gift Cards

To redeem the monetary value of the gift card you must enter the unique code at checkout then clicking Apply. The gift card holds a balance which can be spent over multiple transactions.

If the balance available on the gift card is greater than or equal to the order total simply select Place my order.

If the balance available on the gift card is less than the order total, you will be prompted to choose and additional payment method to cover the difference before placing the order.

The balance remaining on the gift card is displayed on the order confirmation page, below the masked gift card code in the Payment Information section.

The gift card cannot be used toward Shipping Costs or towards purchases offered on Sale.

 

METHODS OF PAYMENT

We accept the following methods of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Shopify Pay and The Old Bank Vault Gift Cards (currently unavailable). Items are charged at point of order.

For verification purposes, every purchase made with a gift card also requires you to enter a debit/credit card number. Your debit/credit card will only be charged if the order total exceeds the amount on your gift card. In this scenario, you will be charged the outstanding order balance. The information on your debit/credit card will not be used for any other purpose.

 

INTERNATIONAL PAYMENTS

All payments are made in our local currency (GBP). Please be aware if using payment methods outside of this currency you may be charged a separate fee by your bank/card provider to convert the currency.

The payment will be processed (in GBP) at the point of order.

Similarly, if your payment is refunded (in part/full) you may not receive the full amount of your order (or more than the total) to reflect changes in currency values from the time the order was placed to the time the order was refunded. 

 

SALE PERIODS

For sale periods, such as (but not limited to) Black Friday and Cyber Monday where discounting may be applied, additional credit notes and/or other discount and gift codes cannot be applied.
