Delivery and Shipping
Shipping options:
We offer free collection at our East London gallery located at 283 Hackney Road, Hackney, London, E2 8NA.
Alternatively, we offer tracked shipping across the United Kingdom and Internationally.
When will my order be sent?
Each product on the website will indicate its delivery availability. This will differ from product to product based on availability. For example, we may have stock in the gallery, the artist may hold stock or the item may even be made to order.
If the item is in stock at the gallery at the point of order the item will be typically sent within 2-3 working days.
If the item is not in stock or the item is made to order we will contact the artist to provide a more accurate delivery date.
What if I am not home when they deliver?
We recommend you use a delivery address where there will be someone to receive and sign for the delivery. For many of our customers this may be a work address. However, if you are out, the usual procedure is for the delivery service to leave a “We Stopped By” card. You can then collect from a depot or re-arrange delivery for a time that suits you.
The Old Bank Vault does not accept liability for any delivery instructions issued to the delivery company by the customer. If you leave instructions requesting a parcel to be left in a different location you deem as a “safe place” such as in the shed, garage or with a neighbour, we cannot accept responsibility, if you fail to receive your artwork.
How are shipping charges calculated?
Shipping prices depend on size and weight and is charged at checkout or provided as a separate quote post purchase depending on the item/availability.
Unless otherwise stated artwork is despatched from us. Some items may be despatched from our artists (as we do not hold stock of all items). We ship all items from the United Kingdom.
We use a tracked shipping service where a signature is required for delivery (as above). Please ensure you select a shipping address where items can be signed for.
International orders may be subject to customs and/or import fees. Customs fees are calculated based on import, brokerage, duties, and taxes, and are not included in the delivery fee quoted at checkout. They will be assessed once the artwork enters the destination country and must be paid by the order recipient. Please contact your local customs office for more information.
Please note that any customs or import charges incurred by the customer are non-refundable.
